China is making great strides towards the goal of "low carbon" through continuous efforts in all aspects. However, it must be noted that compared with developed countries, the foundation for the development of low-carbon economy in China is still relatively weak, and there are still many places to learn from developed countries in terms of green building design, ecologically sustainable residential areas and urban planning.
In order to promote the exchange and learning of "low-carbon" technology and experience between my country and developed countries, Beijing World Travel Architectural Culture Exchange Co., Ltd. launched a training and inspection of low-carbon projects in the United States. The training and inspection will be based on the world-famous Harvard University, which will issue a certificate of completion of the training, and visit the planning, green building and urban regeneration projects in Boston, New York, San Francisco, Washington, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and other cities, as well as low-carbon project renovation and ecologically sustainable residential areas. The main speakers include Alex Krieger (Alex Krieger), Dean of the School of Design of Harvard University, Dean of the Department of Urban Design and Planning of Harvard University, and a famous American urban design and transportation planning expert, Harvard University Visiting professor, Jessica Millman (Jessica Millman), who has 30 years of experience in the field of traditional design and new urban development, etc. The training content covers urban planning and design to promote low-carbon development, new urbanism and its best practices, building livable cities in the process of rapid urbanization, green building design and low-carbon development of the real estate industry.
To develop "low-carbon" cities and explore sustainable low-carbon city development models, breakthroughs need to be made in all aspects from urban planning, green buildings to real estate projects.
First of all, urban planning and design play an important role in the process of "low carbon. The methods and measures taken by planners in land use, building forms, density sets of public transportation, etc., can have a profound impact on the sustainable development of cities and carbon emissions. Construction of low-carbon city planning theory, methods and technical means, on the one hand is to strengthen international exchanges; on the other hand, to combine theory and practice, the theory applied to practice, and in the process of practice innovation theory. This "World Tour" training and inspection provides a good platform for theoretical study and practice.

Because low-carbon housing determines the high degree of living comfort, and comfort and health are priceless; although energy-saving low-carbon housing is a little higher than ordinary housing prices, the long-term use cost will be greatly reduced, comfort and health and money saving become low-carbon real estate The core value.
The development of low-carbon real estate in China still faces many problems, such as the lack of low-carbon housing and pricing standards, the lack of development power of real estate enterprises, and the limited ability of consumers to bear low-carbon costs. In order to achieve the strategic goal of low-carbon economy, developed countries have formulated various incentive measures, and the main low-carbon policies include government regulation, carbon tax, financial subsidies and so on.
To achieve this goal, it is necessary to extensively learn from the experience and lessons of countries around the world in the development of green buildings, to train our own green building planning and design talents, and to achieve new breakthroughs in energy-saving steel structure building design and construction technology.
