The QC achievement of "Time-consuming, Consumable Control and Exploration of Traditional Formwork Construction System" by the General Contracting Department of Construction Engineering of Beijing Urban Construction Group was rated as the 2010 Beijing Excellent Quality Management Team for Engineering Construction by Beijing Construction Industry Federation. The project adopts the steel structure keel roof formwork support system instead of the traditional wood support system in the project construction through QC group activities.
It is understood that Huawei Zhongguancun Science Park M plot project consists of 8 buildings, with many building numbers, large single-storey area and 219874 square meters of floor formwork engineering. If the traditional wooden square support system is used, a large amount of wood will be invested, which is not conducive to the trend of low-carbon development and will also waste costs. Moreover, the traditional wooden square support system will cause more wrong platforms at the joints of roof formwork. In order to ensure the progress and quality of the project, the project department set up a special team this year to organize QC activities. After a series of experiments, the group decided to use a new type of building template combination steel structure bracket instead of the traditional wooden square support system to reduce the phenomenon of wrong platform at the joint of the roof template. The application of steel structure keel roof template support saves wood resources, conforms to the government's call for energy saving and efficiency, and conforms to the trend of low-carbon development.
